meet the team

Sanjay is the owner and Principal dentist of the practice. He qualified as a dentist in London in 1991. After qualification he spent several years in different branches of dentistry. These included general practice, community dentistry, hospital surgical dentistry, specialist referral dentistry and teaching posts for under graduate and post graduate dentists.

Having a strong interest in post graduation study, in 1998 he embarked on a Master of Clinical Dentistry course in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (the branch of dentistry involving advanced crown and bridgework - including dental implant work and cosmetic dentistry and advanced denture work) at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, London.

As a result of completion of the course he was placed on the Specialist Register by the General Dental Council in the United Kingdom for Prosthodontics and Surgical Dentistry. Due to his many qualifications he is often asked to give talks to postgraduate dentists and is an examiner for the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in the UK.

Sanjay is interested in all aspects of dental care but is particularly interested in treating complex dental cases, implant treatment and cosmetic treatment.

Sanjay lives in Newbridge and is married to Deirdre who hails from Naas. He has three children. In his spare time he enjoys watching movies and his favourite football team, Tottenham Hotspur!

Anne Francis DSA, RDH

Anne is the Practice's hygienist. She has been working locally as a dental nurse since 1989. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1992 and three years later decided to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist.

After studying for two years in Dublin Dental Hospital she then moved to Wales where she worked for five years. She has been working in the south-east as a hygienist since 2003. She endeavours to provide a gentle service for patients.

She enjoys yoga, reading and Bruce Springsteen!

Niamh Comerford DSA

Niamh has been working as a dental nurse for the past 5 years.

After a period of training she passed her formal examinations for her qualification in Dental Nursing in November 2006.

In her spare time she enjoys walking and socialising.

Landi

Landi represents the latest addition to the Absolute Dental Care team. Landi has worked in several sectors previously but is now focusing on a career in healthcare.

She enjoys interacting with patients and is currently studying to upgrade her dental nursing qualifications.

Sandra O'Rourke

Sandra is the Practice's receptionist and administrator.

She lives in Baltinglass and has worked at the practice as a dental nurse/receptionist for the last 16 years.

In her spare time she enjoys walks in the countryside and socialising.

Jane DSA

Jane is an experienced dental nurse and has been working as a dental nurse for the past 9 years. She qualified in 2007 from the Dublin Dental Hospital.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
