Throughout the month of February, Absolute Dental Care are offering dental treatment for only HALF PRICE on Mondays for all existing and new patients who are either under 16 or over 65.
Why? Â It is unfortunately the case that both age groups attend dental practices less frequently than other age groups. The dental health of Irish teenagers is amongst the worst in the world and must improve.
Considering how important dental health is, there should be no age group that misses out of good oral health. Good dental health prevents pain, prevents expense, improves self confidence and hence social activity and importantly can prolong life. Yes – can prolong life!  There is a proven link between poor oral health and heart disease, amongst other systemic diseases. Additionally, regular examinations are the best way to screen for oral cancer – sadly on the rise – and has been shown to save lives.
So, as you can see, it’s essential that young juniors and seniors have well cared for teeth and this February could be the time to take those steps.  Treatment for children may include preventative procedures such as fissure seals and cleanings or fillings that may be required. Similarly, over 65′s would benefit from cleanings and fillings as required if necessary. No treatments are excluded apart from any listed in the terms and conditions.
